Regulatory: Sports Regulation

QEB Hollis Whiteman has extended its regulatory and disciplinary muscle into the sporting world.

A team of experienced and knowledgeable members now offers specialist advice and advocacy in connection with the regulation of a number of different sports.

We have forged strong links with both the specialist solicitors in this field and the relevant sporting regulatory bodies.

Philip Evans has advised in relation to a number of appeals in professional regulation. Phil sits on tribunals convened by the Rugby Football Union at both first instance and at appellate level. He also acts as a judicial officer for the RFU.

We are delighted to announce that members of QEB Hollis Whiteman have recently been appointed to the Sports Resolutions panel of arbitrators and mediators.  Those appointed are eligible for appointment from the 3rd January 2012 and will run until the 31st March 2015.

Robin Grey QC, Jeremy Donne QC and David Jeremy QC have all been approved by the British Equestrian Federation to sit as a Legally Qualified Chair.
